Our hearts go out to everyone affected by the current hardships of COVID-19. We would like to thank everyone for the amazing support as Paint Rock Farm has recently reopened. Now, more than ever, the ability to unplug, de-stress, and connect to our natural roots is super important, and also easy to lose sight of. The more we learn about safety, the more we recognize a need for lots of space and open air. Therefore, the beautiful Western NC wilderness is one of the healthiest environments that we can choose. At Paint Rock Farm, our glamping units are well-spaced and have maximum ventilation. We have miles of hiking trails that are available only to guests. Each unit has its own picnic table and fire pit to make sure that no one misses out on the full camping experience during this time. Our community barn is spacious and well-ventilated. In order to ensure a safe experience, while still being able to enjoy all that Paint Rock Farm has to offer, we are following CDC recommendations and have also implemented some new guidelines.
- We will be following all CDC guidelines for the cleanliness of our facilities, as well as requiring social distancing from our guests.
- In the barn, we have created a designated area and table which will be assigned to each individual unit so all guests are able to safely enjoy the barn in the event of rain.
- The catering room, equipped with all your kitchen needs, is available on a scheduled basis. We require that it is thoroughly sanitized by guests before and after each use.
- The luxury bathhouse is open to be used one guest/family at a time, also to be sanitized thoroughly by guests before and after each use.
Ultimately, we are setting up Paint Rock Farm to ensure all of our guests not only have an amazing retreat but also feel safe and well-cared for. We look forward to sharing Paint Rock Farm with our community this season.
